In this relaxed and friendly 3.5 hour workshop you will learn the basics of linocut printmaking, including how to transfer your design to the lino block, carving, inking up the block and printing by hand. By the end of the session you will be able to print a small single colour edition of your design.
All skill levels are welcome to attend, but this workshop is aimed at complete beginners – no previous experience necessary. It is also a good refresher, so if like the many people I meet at craft markets and fairs you tried lino printing at school but haven’t done it for a while, why not come and give it a go and get your skills up to scratch!
