I happily take on commission work and have previously produced hand-lettered calligraphy quotes, wedding place cards and poems, as well as original linocut print designs, such as personal house prints, special places….and even a cheeky seagull!
On this page you’ll find a selection of my commission work, alongside reviews from happy customers. Please do get in touch if you’d like to discuss a possible commission.

"Katy was so helpful at pulling this piece together. I had the text, so to begin with I was mainly thinking of Katy’s calligraphy skills. Other than that I didn’t have any specific ideas other than wanting to make it something really beautiful. We chatted through some picture options to complement the text and colour schemes that would suit the room I was going to hang it in. The finished result was even better than I could have imagined. It now hangs pride of place in my lounge where I can see it every day. Thank you so much!"

"I commissioned Katy to provide me with a linocut design of West Bay, Dorset having seen her Seaside print when she had a stall in the market in the Undercroft in Minchinhampton. Katy was very responsive to my request, ensuring she was clear about the commission, and providing me with photos of the work in progress as she completed it. The project came in within budget and I was delighted with the result. Many thanks, Katy"

"Thank you so much for the beautiful wedding place cards. Our daughter was absolutely delighted with them. The script was a great combination of decorative and legible, which can be tricky to achieve. We had originally planned to do them ourselves but thank goodness we woke up in time." - Helen

"I had been searching for a keepsake present to mark the birth of our niece. I found Letters & Lino’s Etsy page and knew straight away that they would be perfect for this! The communication was great throughout and Katy was able to bring my vision to life. The finished piece was just as beautiful as I had hoped. Thank you!"

"After losing our Mum in 2023 and having to sell our house that we had from brand new in 1967, I wanted a visible memory of my childhood home. A home that had seen myself and my two sisters grow up and get married and fly the nest…Then as each daughter had their own children (7 in total), Grandma’s house was always welcoming and a safe place. I saw an advert on Facebook for one of Katy's pieces which is a linocut of the Minchinhampton Market place, the memories of living in this village came flooding back and I promptly bought 3, one for myself and another for each of my sisters. When I received them it got me thinking and I contacted Katy and asked if she did commissions as I would like one of ‘Our House’ and also if she was able to incorporate mum and her dog in the window? You see mum used to always stand in the window to wave us off/ watch to see if anyone was coming to visit/ watch the children go up and down to the school next door/ have the chance to wave and maybe chat to one of her neighbours. So this was also an important part of my commission.
Katy immediately visited the property and took photos, she then started to sketch her design and after a little to and fro-ing and putting things in and out of the picture we came to a design I loved. I kept this commission a secret from all my family with the intention of presenting them all with one on the completion of the sale of ‘Our House’. This eventually happened November 2024 and I duly framed and wrapped each picture (10 of them!) and gave them to my sisters with the instructions to open after the completion and when their immediate families could be together. They are all over the moon with their memory (tears fell!) and I am absolutely chuffed to bits with the results and the care and attention to detail Katy took in manifesting this memory. I would highly recommend Katy if you are wanting something special and personal as I did. The comments since from my nieces and nephews, were 'It makes me smile everyday', 'I see something different in it every time I look at it', 'It feels like grandma is just about to wave' and my thought when I look at it is that 'I feel she is watching over me!'"
